Winterton Primary School prides itself on the quality of its academic instruction, and we are very proud of the significant number of Grade 7 learners who are not only accepted into some of the best high schools in the country, but are often offered scholarships.

We maintain a favourable teacher-learner ratio with a maximum size of 25 learners per class.

 

All of our classes follow the national CAPS syllabus. 

English and Afrikaans are the official mediums of instruction, and the subjects offered are English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Mathematics, Natural Science and Technology, Social Sciences (History and Geography), Computer Skills, Media and Life Skills (including Personal and Social Well being, Physical Education and Creative Arts).
